Painting exclusively in watercolour, Grahame’s success in the medium is reflected in the number of national and international awards he has won over many years. His has written five books and has contributed to many others and he is a regular contributor to art periodicals including The Artist and Artists & Illustrators

TEACHING

Grahame Booth has been teaching watercolour since 1995 with a mix of studio based, plein air and online courses. He tutors workshops and holiday workshops in many parts of the world and he is also a popular art society demonstrator.

Grahame’s new book on Plein Air Watercolour was published by Search Press in July 2025 Grahame received a Bronze Award in the 2025 Art in the Open International Painting Festival and the Percy French Society award at the 2025 exhibition of the Ulster Watercolour Society
