Painting exclusively in watercolour, Grahame’s success in the medium is reflected in the number of national and international awards he has won over many years. His has written five books and has contributed to many others and he is a regular contributor to art periodicals including The Artist and Artists & Illustrators

TEACHING

Grahame Booth has been teaching watercolour since 1995 with a mix of studio based, plein air and online courses. He tutors workshops and holiday workshops in many parts of the world and he is also a popular art society demonstrator.

An article about the painting above has been published in Edition 63 of the “Art of Watercolour” magazine Grahame received the Letitia Russell award at the 2026 exhibition of the Ulster Watercolour Society for his painting “Red Awnings”
